Biography of Davide Mauti

Born in 1974, he graduated in Art and Design School in 1992 with a major in Illustration for children.

In 1998 he joined the post house 'Skunk', a small company based in Milan, Italy, cutting TV series, music promos and commercials.

From January 2001 he is a free-lance editor and works with several production and post production companies.

In 2002, he moved to L.A. with a scholarship at LOS ANGELES FILM SCHOOL, where he graduated in Picture and Sound Editing with Donn Cambern and cut mainly thesis student films, shot on Film and HD.

Back to Italy, he spent two years working in Rome on feature films in the Editing Department.

In summer 2007 he spends a few months in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, working as a commercial editor.

In 2008 he worked as a producer/editor/director with Current TV Italia, a satellite and web network, launching in Italy on May the 8th 2008.

He is now considering job opportunities in South East Asia on Feature Lenght Films.
